So Richard said “I don’t believe in the moralistic dogma of this so called civilized society.” In simpler terms, what does that mean?

luciferlaughs:

The way I interpret it is that society likes to believe they are on some moral high-ground and that they are somehow better than the killers they are so disturbed by, yet they call for for their deaths, and praise the troops that are sent overseas to kill. It’s hypocritical to him. He also despised the government, calling them hypocrites and oppressors for taking away the rights of individuals.

He believed society is brainwashed into believing what is right and wrong, whereas Richard didn’t follow their meaningless moral compass, he followed his own mind and desires. He didn’t see them as any better than him, he saw them as sheep who are too scared to pursue their true animalistic instincts.
