“I don’t even know if I have the capacity for normal emotions or not because I haven’t cried for a long time. You just stifle them for so long that maybe you lose them, partially at least. I don’t know.”
– Jeffrey Dahmer

By the age of 10, serial killer and cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer started to experiment with things that were once alive, as he liked to bike around the woods and collect dead animals to dissect. He also took pleasure in bleaching the bones of dead chickens, stuffing insects into bottles of formaldehyde, and decapitating rodents. Jeffrey once even mounted the head of a dog on a stake. However, it is unlikely that he tortured or killed any animals while they were alive, and Jeffrey recalled an incident where he went for a ride with a school friend. While they were in the car, his friend would deliberately swerve to hit the dogs that had walked onto the road. Jeffrey was revolted by such a cruel act and pitied the animals that were being killed by his friend.
